Decent Hotel with Location Benefits

The hotel's location is great. It is close to the C-train, a definite plus for getting around the area without a car. I liked having lemon water available at reception it was a refreshing touch.
My room had low ceilings which was a bit strange. There was only one small window with no view and no main light only lamps making it dark and not bright.

the bedding provided a good quality of sleep, which i appreciated.
the room was far too warm because of problems with the heating. the general manager said this was expected in an old building, but it was not acceptable to me. i also found the general manager's explanation, that they were just glad to be fully booked at this time of year, unprofessional.

the beds and pillows were comfortable. it was like sleeping on a cloud! the location was convenient. it was close to transport and the bus stop was right outside the hotel. i found the valet parking and staff very efficient. i also appreciated the clean lobby and hallways.
the sound insulation between rooms was poor.

the hotel's location is excellent. it's close to all needed amenities and not far from the main part of town. also, it is pretty close to the tram station and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.

the hotel features a pool! i loved the ability to take a swim . the buffet breakfast provided a good selection. i also liked that the hotel offered valet parking.

the location was unbeatable. it made it easy to walk to different places. the front desk staff was especially helpful, and they offered great tips on how to navigate the city. valet parking was a great convenience, especially with the attendant so cute when i arrived (around 4 pm or 5 pm).
the room did not include a fridge or microwave. it would have been more convenient if these appliances were available in the room.

the room had plenty of storage space, quite useful for my luggage. a coffee maker was available, which allowed me to enjoy coffee in the morning. it was clean (which i always appreciate).

the hotel location was near the lrt station, so it was easy for me to travel downtown. i appreciated that the receptionist were helpful and reactive to my questions. checking in was simple and the staff were very helpful to me.
heating was very noisy in the room. i learned its normal in old buildings, but it was still annoying to hear it all night. the room was too warm because i had to turn up the heat. the noise affected my sleep.

my room was way too hot, i swear. the receptionist was super rude when i asked if they could turn the air down. like, it. also, someone let themself in to the room during the night, no evidence was required, so i didn't feel very secure at all.

The location was great. It was close to shopping and stephen avenue. i appreciated the easy parking. This made coming and going very convenient. the convenience store on the ground floor was useful for picking up quick items.
the ac wasn't working, so i only had access to an electric fan. i was told the maintenance person only works mornings. the room was also too hot and stuffy, even when i adjusted the thermostat.
